Issue Position

We have a duty to support our troops both on the frontlines and here at home.

The veterans and active duty servicemen and servicewomen of our nation have put their lives on the line, night and day, to protect our families and our freedoms. These men and women accepted the call of duty, left behind their loved ones and risked their lives in order to safeguard the livelihood of others. When these brave soldiers return from battle, they too often do not get the support and assistance they deserve. We have a duty to honor and support our troops and veterans, as well as promote policies that reflect our appreciate of their service.
